Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before making a booking. By purchasing a ticket or gift voucher, you (the “customer”) agree to be bound by these terms on behalf of yourself and all members of your group. These terms are governed by Scottish Law, and any disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

1. Booking & Attendance

1.1 Who Can Book

Only persons aged 18 or over may make a booking.
All ages are welcome to participate. Players aged 16 and under must be accompanied inside the game by at least one adult (18+).
It is the booker’s responsibility to ensure that all group members are aware of and agree to these terms before arrival.

1.2 Making a Booking

Bookings can be made online at http://www.intimeescaperooms.com. Full payment is required at the time of booking.
We accept all major credit and debit cards and PayPal. We do not accept cheques.
You are responsible for ensuring all booking details you submit are accurate. A booking confirmation will be sent by email only — we do not send confirmation by post or text.

1.3 Pricing

Prices are based on the number of players as shown on our website.
If fewer people attend than originally booked, no refund will be given for the difference.
If more people attend than originally booked, additional players may be accommodated up to the room’s maximum capacity at the per-person rate, payable on arrival.

1.4 Transferring a Booking

To transfer your booking to another person, contact us by email or telephone at least two hours before your game start time. We may decline transfers at our discretion.
Bookings may not be transferred or resold for commercial gain or at a premium. Any such booking will be refused entry.

1.5 Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that plans can change. If you need to reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible.
Each booking may only be rescheduled once. A second reschedule request will not be accepted and the original booking will be forfeited.
Refunds are not offered for cancellations. If we are unable to reschedule within the required timeframe, your booking will be forfeited.
If In Time Escape Rooms needs to cancel your booking for any reason, we will contact you as soon as possible and offer a full reschedule at no charge, or a full refund.
When rescheduling, you may choose one of the following options:
- Direct reschedule — move your booking to a new date and time, subject to availability and the applicable fee below.
- Gift voucher — receive a gift voucher to the value of your original booking, valid for 3 months, allowing you to rebook at a time that suits you. The applicable rescheduling fee still applies.

1.6 Arriving for Your Game

We recommend arriving at least 5 minutes before your scheduled start time.
If you arrive up to 30 minutes late, your game will still begin, but your play time may be reduced accordingly.
If you arrive 30 minutes or more after your scheduled start time, your booking will be treated as a no-show, no refund will be given, and rescheduling will not be offered.
To be admitted, you must confirm the full name on the booking and may be asked to provide your phone number or email address.

2. Health & Safety

2.1 Participation at Your Own Risk

By booking, you confirm that you and all members of your group are in good health and are fit to participate in a physical, immersive escape room experience.
Our games may involve low lighting, loud sounds, confined spaces, and physical activity. Please consider whether any group member has a condition — including claustrophobia, epilepsy, heart conditions, pregnancy, or mobility issues — that may affect their ability to participate safely.
If you are unsure whether any activity is suitable for a member of your group, please contact us before booking.
Each player participates at their own risk. In Time Escape Rooms is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage arising during your visit, except where caused by our negligence.

2.2 Alcohol & Drugs

Guests who appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be refused entry. No refund will be given in these circumstances.
Any costs or legal action arising from behaviour caused by intoxication will be the sole responsibility of the individual concerned.

2.3 Dangerous Items

You must not bring any sharp objects, weapons, or other items that could be harmful to yourself or others onto the premises.
Any such item found will result in refusal of entry.

2.4 Fire Safety

Fire exits are clearly marked throughout the venue. Please take note of their locations on arrival.
In the event of an emergency, please follow the instructions of our staff.

2.5 Appropriate Attire

Please wear comfortable clothing and suitable footwear. We are not responsible for any injury arising from inappropriate attire.

2.6 Personal Belongings

All personal belongings are kept at your own risk. In Time Escape Rooms is not liable for any loss or damage to personal items during your visit.

3. Code of Conduct

We want everyone to have a great experience. To ensure this for all our guests and staff, please observe the following:

Follow the instructions of your Game Moderator at all times.
Treat all props, puzzles, and equipment with care. Force is never required. You will be charged for any intentional damage or damage caused by misuse.
Food and drink may not be brought into the game rooms.
Bullying, harassment, or abusive behaviour towards staff or other guests will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to end your game early in such circumstances, with no refund.
You must not disclose specific details about any of our games, puzzles, or solutions to other potential players — this spoils the experience for others.

4. Photography, Recording & CCTV

For the integrity of our games, personal photography, video recording, and audio recording inside the game rooms are not permitted without our explicit prior permission.
Any recording found to have been made without permission may be deleted.
Our venue operates CCTV for the purposes of security and game management. By entering the premises, you consent to this.
We may take team photographs at the end of your game for your enjoyment. These may be shared on our social media channels. If you do not wish to be photographed or for any image to be shared, please inform a member of staff on arrival.
If you would like an existing image removed from our channels, please contact us at info@intimeescaperooms.com.

5. Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated.
Vouchers must be applied at the time of booking and cannot be applied retrospectively.
Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
If the booking value exceeds the voucher amount, the difference must be paid at the time of booking.
If the booking value is less than the voucher amount, no change will be given.
Vouchers are transferable between people but may not be resold for commercial gain.
Lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced.

6. Complaints & Problems

We take all feedback seriously and are committed to providing a great experience. If something goes wrong during your visit, please speak to a member of staff at the time so we can try to resolve it immediately.

We are under a legal duty to provide our experience in conformity with this contract. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

7. Data Protection & Privacy

In Time Escape Rooms (Cassidy Campbell Ltd.) collects and stores your personal information in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Your data is used solely to manage your booking and to contact you about your booking.
We will not share your personal data with third parties, except where required by law.
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at info@intimeescaperooms.com.

8. Website Use

The website http://www.intimeescaperooms.com is owned and operated by Cassidy Campbell Ltd. We reserve the right to amend its content and these terms at any time without prior notice.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this site without our written permission.
Our trademarks and logos are the property of In Time Escape Rooms and may not be used without prior written consent.
Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or operation of those sites.
We take appropriate steps to protect the security of online payments. However, we cannot be liable for loss of confidentiality resulting from use of the internet.

These terms and conditions, and any contract incorporating them, are governed by Scottish Law. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

Nothing in any contract between us is intended to be enforceable by third parties pursuant to the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
